One neat thing about Structural Wood Products is that our trusses are custom. We might work with the same customer on multiple truss projects, but each project is unique. The Blue Ash Bistro truss is unique because it has double top chords, double bottom chords with an arch, two webs, a two piece post, rods, and various custom fasteners.

Blue Ash Bistro Truss Statistics:

• Wood - Glue laminated Douglas Fir, planed for a smooth surface

• Steel - Partially exposed and partially concealed, primed with gray primer (customer painted steel black when it arrived at the job site)

• Fasteners - Zinc plated (customer painted black)

The Blue Ash Bistro Truss was built in our shop.

Because we are so specialized, Structural Wood Products markets heavy timber trusses all across the United States from our shop in Clackamas, Oregon.

We can ship trusses assembled or disassembled depending on what the customer needs. Assembling them in our shop saves valuable job site time. Then again, some assembled trusses are too large to ship in one piece. We ship the larger heavy timber trusses knocked down and give instructions on how to assemble them on the job site. We at least assemble one of each truss type to ensure a proper fit. Customers have told us that they appreciate how well our trusses fit together.
