LOGS
In addition to hand peeled logs, we lathe turn logs up to 36" diameter, 33 feet in length. The diameter of these logs can be consistent from top to bottom or can have a taper from 1 to 26 inches. These logs can be used structurally for columns, beams or truss members. The finish is slightly rough but can be sanded smooth. Although the finished product may have characteristics that are consistent with log harvesting, lathe turned logs will show the magnificent grain and true color tones of the wood.
